The Inn is walking distance to practically everything. The staff was terrific and the food was delicious. Staff went above and beyond expectations. The amenities are plentiful and there is so much to do close to the Inn.

A friend and I, decided to get out of town for the weekend. We called late one night to reserve a room and even being late, and having a ton of questions, I was treated with the up most respect! We arrived later than we told, and got a call while on the way checking on us! This already made our trip! Upon arrival it was very easy, unloading, and parking although it is a walk to our vehicle, we didn't even use it to walk the city so was no big deal! Having a large truck this parking lot was very accommodating to me! Thea, was here during our stay and me and my friend enjoyed hours of sitting in the beautiful living room and on the patio talking to Thea! This made us feel very at home! We enjoyed ourselves so much the next morning we woke up and decided to stay another night, although we had to move rooms (our current room had been reserved for another couple) they moved all of our belongings while we were out enjoying the city! We loved this place and we will NEVER stay at another place while in st. Augustine again. We will move around our trip date just to stay here! Wonderful staff, and a BIG THANKS, to Thea for all the wonderful talks to Colby and Dylan! We loved this and will see you all again VERY shortly!!!

We spent a blissful 24 hours at the inn. Comfy, well-appointed rooms, delicious breakfast, lovely people. Short walk to many of the city's best sites and restaurants. Lush, quiet, shaded pool area, perfect for unwinding. LGBTQ friendly too. We'll definitely go back.

My husband and I stayed here with our 6 month old baby back in Aug 2014. This place was SO welcoming and accommodating. When we arrived, the manager greeted us like we were family. She made our stay super easy and comfortable. Anything we needed, she went out of her way to help. She even moved a mini fridge in our room so I could store my daughter's formula!! It was my first time at a BBB and I think we were so spoiled I never want to stay in a regular hotel again. Great location, nice, clean rooms (old school rooms like you're at grandmas house. So don't expect flat seen TVs!). Complimentary wine hour every night and delicious breakfast. If you're looking for somewhere that's comfortable, quiet, friendly, and has an awesome location, this is the place!

This was our second trip to Saint Augustine! We and just as last time it was incredible! We absolutely love the history of the city and all there is to do and how walkable everything is! We chose The Kenwood Inn this time because last time we stayed at the Saint George inn and although the location was outstanding it was very noisy and the room didn't meet our expectations.

Upon check in we pulled up and parked out front where we unloaded our bags and there was gentlemen working for the inn to help us carry them in and up to our suite. Then we were greeted by our inn keeper and she was very pleasant and gave us a tour of the old inn and some history behind it. We then received our keys and had to park the car about three blocks away in a separate parking lot and walk back..which was a little far but fine.. Because you walk everywhere in Saint Augustine! You do not need your car unless you plan on going outside of downtown! We received our keys and made our way to the blue porcelain room on the second floor. Beautiful! The room had gorgeous original hardwood floors, a large grande canopy bed and dark antique furniture..very roomy..and had all the modern amenities to suit our needs with outlets..original fireplace, two beautiful Windows and a door that lead out to quant shared wrap around patio with chairs that looked down on the pool. The room was accented with hues of deep and light blue antiques throughout. The large spa shower was amazing with a rain shower head and massage jets on the sides! The only complaint I would say about the room was that the toilet is wide open to the rest of the room with no curtain or door for privacy..

Our favorite things about the inn
1. It is dog friendly and compared to other inns and resorts that charge 50-75 a night Kenwood only charged us a one time fee of 35.00 the entire stay.
2. It was quiet and romantic and full of history and takes you back in time..
3. It had a pool! Which is rare for b&b's in the area! It was great when visiting in the summer months! After a long day of walking the town in the heat we enjoyed coming back and taking a relaxing dip in the pool to cool down.
4. Breakfast is including and was outstanding both mornings! They do not slack in this department whatsoever! Huge breakfast...And it was delightful sitting outside in the morning on the back patio looking at the coy pond. Only downside is that the hours they run breakfast are between 8-930am. I wish it was open slightly longer maybe till 10 or 10:30! It would have been nice to sleep in a little longer on vaca.

5. The location! We loved the location because it was close enough to walk to downtown to everything, but far away enough to get some quiet at night.

6. We loved the free bikes and happy hour at five o'clock.

It really was a beautiful inn and we will most likely be back again!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your stay at the Inn. We were so happy to hear that you had such a wonderful time with us. Our gourmet breakfasts are a highlight with any stay and our highly appointed rooms are often tandem with modern bathrooms, offering the best of both worlds to our guests. In the Blue Porcelin Suite there is an option for a curtain divider for the bathroom and we were sorry we didn't know that you needed this accommodation. We will be certain to include this in all of our talks about the room in the future and thank you for that feedback. We look forward to your next visit home with us whenever you are next in St. Augustine!

All the best,
Pat and The Kenwood Team
