I almost gave these gardens 4 stars only because the price seemed a bit high for the state of development, $12 general admission, $10 for seniors. it's early in the game. But it's a gorgeous piece of land, generously donated for the public good, and the sculptures are really world class. I live in Los Angeles and am a travel writer so I have seen many gardens. I actually appreciated how one could see the grounds, including reading about each sculpture, within a leisurely hour. The views of river out the two walkways were wonderful. As the plants mature, this place will get better and better. But enjoy how few people there are NOW while it's new. Would not hesitate to take visiting tourists.
