“Great Quiet Beach”
Review of Cape San Blas

Cottage rentals are much less expensive than the lower regions of the state and the traffic is so much less. Very laid back living. No charge to walk the beach. Great restaurants with fresh seafood.

Cape San Blas is all beach houses with a great State park at the end of the peninsula. The bottle green water white fine sand and the natural, unspoiled miles long beach is among the best. We travel extensively and this Isolated spot is outstanding.

Lots of homes for rent. Pretty Beaches with clear water but too populated for us. I can only Imagine how packed this area is in summer. I overheard a young man state it is over an hour wait for ice cream cone at his shop in summer months. Just not my kind of place

Cape San Blas is a wee spit of land which runs north south out of St. Joe, on the northwest side of FL. Building is beginning, but so far, the beaches remain almost vacant and beautiful. On the bay side of the land, shallow water fishing is available, with long public boardwalks allowing access. Canoeing, kayaking, swimming, fishing, crabbing, scalloping, biking, hiking, paddle boarding, boating...all available.
