We stayed 2 nights in the garden suite. I am not sure why it has that name because it opens to the parking lot :) the location did come in handy because it was pouring rain when we arrived.
Very clean, comfy bed and good breakfast. Walking to lots of shopping and restaurants
Would stay here again!

Stayed here for a friends wedding. It's nice if you're not planning on spending too much time at the beach. I don't recommend bringing kids as there's not much for them to do in this little town. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and the breakfast was EXCELLENT! I'm not sure what the sausage gravy was made with, but I crave it!

This inn does a great job providing comfortable accommodations with an experience like you'd receive in days past. If you look at them thru the experience of the cookie cutter large chains you'll probably find a flaw. But these folks will bend over backwards to give you a great stay as well as the hospitality experience of the local town. They have entertainment on the weekends, an awesome breakfast for $5, and they are centrally located to the town and shopping.

In this City, there exists one place to stay, the Port Inn. They need no more. This place is hospitable, comfortable, and in close proximity to everything. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and your overall experience is positive. Cannot wait to go back. And check out their bar...the Thirsty Goat. Pretty neat.

This is a beautifully renovated inn in Port St. Joe: very clean, tastefully furnished/ decorated, and The Thirsty Goat is fun for drinks. They have a small breakfast buffet with eggs cooked to order, waffles, toast, bagels, etc. Staff friendly & helpful. Walking distance to many PSJ shops/restaurants. But, that convenient location is also a disadvantage: the Inn sits right on US 98 at the intersection with FL 71. My first floor bay view room had a charming, spacious porch with rocking chairs & ceiling fan, but it was hard to enjoy because of traffic noise. Listening to trucks & motorcycles with loud pipes just isn't my idea of relaxation. Rooms on back side of Inn might be better. Cottages look very cute & are pet friendly, but out of range for my budget. Not sure I'd stay here again--if I do I'm asking for second floor & rear of property to see if that helps.
