I can only imagine that the people who gave this hotel more than two stars must have been high when they stayed there. This was the most disappointing place I have ever stayed. My friends and I picked this hotel for it's convenience to the arena and we were quoted a good price. However, less than two weeks prior to our stay, we were all called and told that we were given the wrong rates. Some of our rates went up $10 per night, others went up $20. Interesting that a hurricane had just gone through a week earlier and demand was higher. But worse than that were the accomodations. My room had no towel racks or hangers. The bathroom floor felt oily and the tub barely drained. The room was dark and glooming so I didn't spend anymore time in it than absolutely necessary. And some of my friend's rooms were worse. I could go on and on but I don't have a week. I was registered to stay for 4 nights but checked out after 2. Since you are charged up front, I have to wait another billing cycle to get my 2 nights credited back on my credit card. I realize that Pensacola has been hit by several hurricanes but there is no evidence that there has been any money reinvested in this motel for over thirty years. It is just old and sad. Stay at your own risk.
