We thoroughly enjoyed the 50-minute airboat tour of the Everglades! Our party consisted of 2 40-somethings, 2 17-year-olds and 2 8-year olds. All of us loved the trip. We saw at least 10 alligators, many birds, and even a nest of 2-week-old ospreys!

Before the trip we enjoyed visiting the nature room showing all of the types of animals that live in the Everglades. Thank you for a wonderful time.

We had a wonderful private tour with Wild Lyle this week! As an extra treat, they had a snack buffet for us and packed a cooler with waters and snacks for the tour! Learned about the birds and wildlife of the Everglades. Saw alligators much to our delight! The kids loved it because we both flew around with the airboat (boys loved it) and trolled the shore and reeds searching for gators for miles. Even on a cloudy day, Wild Lyle found gators for us! His love and commitment to the preservations is clear!

We booked a private tour here and all I can say is if u are over 90 or under 5 u might enjoy slowly floating around on the water because that is about all u will do. This guy didn’t go farther than 600 feet from the boat ramp. We did see a few small alligators and a few birds. It was a pitiful experience and I feel bad writing this. He also called us 8 times trying to figure out whether we had a reservation. ( we made it online but that doesn’t seem to work). There is no airboat ride here, just floating and talking. There must be other guides at this place based on the reviews. Maybe u could check those other guys out. Good luck

This was the only "Everglades" tour in the area and we wanted to experience it. The place is out in the middle of nowhere but we had no problem locating it. The web site asks you to get there 45 minutes before your tour. We had been 10 minutes away having lunch and on our way back when I got a call. It was 40 minutes before our scheduled tour and they called us to see if we were coming. When I told them we were less than 10 minutes away they said okay. Once we got there they rushed us over to the boat where other patrons had been waiting for us. I am certain they got us on an earlier boat, though they never told us that.

They make you wear ear phones for protection from the noise. When Lyle goes into a deeper conversation he lets the engines run down so you can hear him, but often a bird or alligator comes into view quickly and he cuts the engine to speak, but its still impossible to hear him.

We did see several alligators, some turtles, a snake and various kinds of birds, but I'm not sure I'd recommend.

We had a very nice one hour tour. We didn’t have time to be out longer so it was a nice outing for our needs. There were about 12 people on the tour. We saw a several alligators and a few hawks and egrets and some other birds. The gators were laying low so we didn’t get a great view of any of them but the captain did stop for several minutes so we could see and take photos of a gator hiding in the tall grass. He had great knowledge of the area and the habitat.
