Great place to walk and see nature. Well maintained board walks and observation tower overlooking the water. Good parking areas.

Emerson Point Preserve is a must see on Sneed Island. It hosts several scenic trails of varying lengths. You can launch kayaks in the mangroves or Manatee River. Fishing is available and an amazing bike path! So beautiful!!

Growing up in Manatee county, it’s a tradition for the schools to visit here every year! Private beach, nice trails and views. Good for picnics, exercise, walking/jogging and learning about the plants and habitats. Good for all ages! The beach also has baby crabs

This preserve offers wonderful diversity of water trails, boardwalks, historical sites, mangrove tunnels and beautiful vistas. You can kayak, hike, bike or just enjoy one of the many serene places to sit on a bench and take in the views and wildlife. We saw a box turtle, roseate spoonbill, black racer snake, many types of birds, crabs and miniature schools of fish. The trees are works of art! It is a wonderfully peaceful place in nature to spend a day with friends or alone.
