My home is in Palm Beach, I'm a local. New restaurant with a long history opens on a prime corner, with nice seating. We showed up around 5 pm on a Saturday, figure we would sit outside and enjoy a cocktail and appetizers before we would order dinner.
Our server told us the chef will only allow each table to order once per seating.
Not to sound snotty, but I have lived in Paris, London, NYC and Chicago... unless you are doing a chef's menu I literally in 50 years of eating in some of the finest restaurants in the world, I never heard of such a thing!
We decided to just have a drink and get appetizers, and move on to somewhere a little more customer oriented.
The food and cocktails were not good, not terrible, but the amount of sugar and salt across the food and beverages ordered, we could have been at a mediocre mall chain.
Server was sloppy and unprofessional.
Terrible experience, and btw Oysters at every other raw bar in PB are cheaper and better.
