Owner description: Scenic hiking and biking trail.

Did this with my 14 and 11 year olds and it was a big hit for all. We rented bike right off the trail. It was so easy. The weather was perfect, the views where gorgeous and the activity did the mind and body good. We did it in the morning, about 2 hours from start to finish including the bike rental and drop off. This left us time for the beach in the afternoon. Good stuff.

This is such a pretty place to walk or bike along the Intracoastal waterway in Palm Beach in the morning. We love to walk here and then go to breakfast somewhere in Palm Beach or West Palm Beach

The Lake Trail is paved and about five miles one way. The Lake is on one side and multi million dollar mansions are on the other. There were so many interesting things to see along the way. Different types of doors leading to private piers where yachts are docked, palm trees with coconuts, and beautiful flowering shrubs and plants. There are benches along the way where you can stop and take in the view. Sunscreen and water are a must since most of the trail is in the sun, and there are no restrooms. We parked for free near the Society of The Four Arts and just walked a few blocks to pick up the southern portion of the trail.

Runs pretty much the length of the island along the Intercoastal. I'm guessing it's there miles long with terrific seascapes of yachts and nature. Not to be missed.

If you have not done this then get off your sofa and get going. Why not go see some of the sexiest houses around and you get exercise at the same time.
