My grandson and I stayed her for four nights the first week of June, 2018. It was a generally satisfying experience;
PROS:chocolate chip cookies, helpful staff, plush towels, effective AC, free shuttle to parks (more on that later), strong shower, good location for restaurants (Waffle House and Perkins)
CONS: Sleep number controls did not work - I felt like I was sleeping on an ironing board, but I was so exhausted that it did not matter; bathroom sink is not kid-friendly; desk chair was broken - seat was about 18 inches from floor and the upholstery was unraveling
PARK SHUTTLE: My family has visited Disneyland at least 5 times over the years. In California, a (paying)shuttle takes you a brief distance right to the park and the shuttles run all day. This is a whole different story. Five shuttles leave in the AM and 5 shuttles return in the PM. First, a bus takes you to Epcot. Then you travel to the transportation center by bus or monorail to have your bags thoroughly searched. Last you travel by ferryboat or monorail to the Magic Kingdom. If you want to view the fireworks, you will have to wait for the 11:30 PM shuttle.
In short, this hotel was basically a place to crash after all day in the Magic Kingdom. It more than met our needs.More
