We ate at the Hard Rock Cafe our first night at Universal. Got seated right away , took a family picture holding an electric guitar , which was cool.
Wings were good , the big Texan sandwich was also good. Rest of the food was ok. Really like the decor awesome memorabilia . Gift shop was real nice. Definitely worth the experience , but not someplace I would eat at more than once while on a weeks vacation. I Gave this 4 stars be cause of the memorabilia and the gift shop, not the food.

Had to try this! Line was long and told of 40 min wait which was more like 15.

Very friendly service, good food, awesome cocktails, cool setting / fascinating.

Was very busy but bustle wasn't overly intrusive just good fun.

Fantastic shop too and good photo opportunities :)

Went to the hard rock for a family meal. The food and service was great but the cost of it is far overpriced. If your from the uk, you would think you're in TGI Fridays as the food was roughly the same but the price was a lot more!

Nice to see all the stuff hanging up like Elvis coat etc but your paying for this in the cost of the meal.

A wonderful collection of memorabilia throughout. A must see for any music lover. However, the food was subpar at best. We started with the Jumbo chicken wings, which were not so jumbo. 8 wings for around $15.00 was a bit pricey. I had the half BBQ chicken with beans and slaw. The chicken came out overcooked and dry. The side of the chicken was black and the wing completely burnt to a crisp. I was surprised they even served it. At first I wanted to send it back, but when our waitress didn't return, I began to cut it apart with a sharp knife and eat what was not completely dried out. Some extra BBQ sauce would have made it a little more palatable, but didn't have that either. My wife had the pulled pork and it was the same. Died out and no sauce. She ate slowly, hoping to get some BBQ sauce, but 20 minutes later, we still hadn't seen our waitress, so finished up and finally requested our check when she did arrive. The funny thing, as I was trying to cut off a piece of chicken with the steak knife, and literally sawing away, a manager came by, said hello and hope you are enjoying your stay and walked away. He could clearly or maybe not wanting to see, the black burnt chicken on my plate and me struggling to cut a piece off, yet ignored it and walked on. Explains why they served the burnt chicken in the first place, I guess.

HARD ROCK CAFE, PLEASE GET YOUR KITCHEN AND SERVICE IN ORDER. You have a wonderful venue and shouldn't rely on the tourists of Universal and Orlando to fill the seats, but do so with pride in your products and services.

This is a great place to stop when you are traveling back and forth between Universal and Islands of Adventure. It is nice and cool on a hot day and the atmosphere is great. You can enjoy a few drinks or have a meal too. The food is really good.
