“Lousy, rude, extremely slow service”
Reviewed 20 February 2012

This was the worst dining experience I can remember in many years. We were barely greeted at the door, it took 15 minutes to get our first round of drinks and we never got the children's menu we were promised. I never got my soup until we asked for the bill an hour later at which point I sent it back. The table next to us was sat just after us, but they had steaks and full on drinks and food within 30 minutes. The waiter we had was extremely slow, unresponsive and rude. When we asked other waiters for help, we were told they couldn't help us as our waiter was taking care of it.

“Best Valentine's menu ever”
Reviewed 14 February 2012

My husband and I have gone to several places for valentine's day over the years together. This was hands down our favorite. Not only for the value (four-courses for $59 each) but the food was delicious, the service was great, the location was convenient, and the atmosphere was classy and romantic. We went specifically because of the valentine's day menu. We went ahead of time because of our personal schedules but were so glad they offered it on a slightly extended basis. The options were amazing- it was hard to pick at times. We read great reviews from local bloggers about this menu and were pleased to find it was worth every bit of praise and money. We will definitely have to go back for another meal.

“Christmas dinner was ruined”
Reviewed 16 January 2012

We went here on Xmas evening, expecting a fine dining experience. The place had been recommended to us by another chef in the area and as we were on holiday and had no xmas dinner plans, we agreed. In advance we had been shown the menu and the price of $50 per person, we thought this very reasonable so we went along. Upon arrival, we had to wait 15 mins to be seated. We were shown the menus and the price was now $80 per head and on parites of 6 people or more would be an applied 12.5% service charge. It was no almost 8:30pm so we thought to hell with it, it has to be great for this money and was in our guide books as a great place to eat! Well we couldn't of been more wrong! Starter was pleasant, tiger prawns and a serving much to big for the average person and it was now 9:05pm, next was the salad, which had arrived just as i was taking the last bite of my starter, no resting time at all. Salad was dull and an odd course in my opinion especially after the starter and before the main, anyway, the main arrived, the most beautiful cut of steak you have ever seen and cooked really well, unfortunately it tasted awful, it came with mash potato that tasted like vanilla and the steak of burnt coffee grounds, it was inedible. I looked around the room and saw the same expression i had on my face on other diners who had ordered the steak and nobody was happy, i feel the worst part of this dining experience and it being xmas day where the raised the price by 30$ each, is that nobody bothered to come around to ask if our meal was satisfactory, they just took the order and served the food as if we were dogs, when the waiter and i think he was head waiter, he at least had a crumpled suit on and a horrible attitude, he asked how my meal was, as he was holding my very full plate, I said it was horrible, i couldn't eat it and he asked about the starter and the salad and walked off, I expected him to return with the menu so i could order something else, but no, 20 mins later dessert was brought, it wasn't great either and with the overpowering taste of burnt coffee grounds ( what the hell was the chef thinking) in my mouth, it was as awful as the main course. At this stage we were furious and wanted the bill and to get the hell out of there, bill arrived, charged full price and with the 12.5% service charge added to it. We were livid to say the least, we called over a lovely older waitress and we explained that my main was inedible and i wasn't offered another, that we had be charged a service charge with only two people and the whole dining experience had be a disaster! she went of to sort it, we were offered she said, 20% off our total bill, which was a sham, I didn't get to eat my dinner and it was xmas and we were a long way from home, we were offered zero apology by Mr balding up tight crumpled suit but it was left to a kind waitress who was absolutely mortified as she knew i didn't get to eat. She also took off the service charge, which she dam well should off without the hoopla, we left and went to Denny's as we were both starving and out of pocket over $150. This place is a disgrace and especially the head waiter/general floor meanie, if you want to be over charged for poor food and treated like a homeless who just did a fart, then this is the place for you, otherwise, steer well clear and pick somewhere else.

“Best meal of the trip”
Reviewed 5 January 2012

Just gave 4 starts because of the price, but the overall experience was awesome. Great buffet and quality of food not much stomach space for everything. We spent Christmas day Brunch at one of the private rooms with three little kids and it was so accommodating. They also offered child care services.

“Art, Music and Delicious Food”
Reviewed 2 January 2012

In the Grand Bohemian Hotel in downtown Orlando. Within walking distance of Amway Arena and fun on Church St. Restaurant is a wonderful place, especially for Sunday brunch for locals and visitors. You are surrounded by great art while you dine and are treated by piano playing on a "only two in the world" German Badenhauser piano. Highly recommend the crab cake!
