Owner description: There are many ways to enjoy your Orlando vacation, but there is only one place where vacation becomes adventure: Universal Orlando Resort. It is a unique destination featuring two theme parks, Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Islands of Adventure, three magnificently themed on-site hotels and a nighttime entertainment complex. It's the only Orlando destination where you are not just entertained - you become part of the most exhilarating entertainment ever created. You can soar above Hogwarts with Harry Potter, swing above the streets with Spider-Man, battle aliens alongside Agent J, and help Shrek save Princess Fiona in Shrek 4-D. Now open: the new, heart-warming and hilarious Despicable Me Minion Mayhem ride. And coming soon: Transformers The Ride-3D. Universal Orlando Resort is part of NBCUniversal, a Comcast company.

“Here were the thrill rides we were looking for.”
Reviewed 26 February 2012

The way that Hogwarts and Hogsmead have been recreated is nothing short of genius. My daughter and I took in every detail. Only the butterbeer disappointed my daughter. She had created her own fantasy about what it would taste like. For me it was lovely.

“The best!,”
Reviewed 26 February 2012

My daughters and I are huge Harry Potter fans, and my husband was along for the ride. ;) The Wizarding World of Harry Potter did not disappoint! We enjoyed breakfast at The Three Broomstick( average food and pricey, but had to do it once!) we also loved butter beers and the hogsheads house brew at the Hogsheads tavern. And the trip through Hogwarts was a fans dream!!

“Worth the wait....”
Reviewed 26 February 2012

The whole Harry Potter section is absolutely wonderful and the main attraction of the park. You will have difficulty walking in this area by 10 am. I would recommend that you stay at one of Universals hotels for 1 night only, get the fast pass with your room key and the 1 hour early admission and make sure your at the gate when the gate open. They rush down to Harry Potter area and go on the ride in the castle, then the dragon coaster and finally Olivanders. then do the flight of the hippogriff <sp>. Then exit that area after you pick up your butter beer and head to the rest of the park. Failure to stay at the park and arrive 1 hour early before the bark opens to the rest of the world will mean 2-3 hour wait times for any Harry Potter Adventure ride.

“Best ride I was ever on!”
Reviewed 26 February 2012

This place is unbelievable. Takes one right into the world of Harry Potter! Best ride ever! Different aspects all put together, motion, 3D, film...excellent! Definitely the best ride I've ever been on. We were there in September of 2010 but I cannot choose that date from the drop down menu as it doesn't go back that far.
