Great location and friendly staff. 35 minute wait for a bacon and egg roll and coffee on a Sunday morning. Unfortunately the roll was stale and tough to eat.

Surprised that no one has mentioned the greasy slippery floor. The bathroom floor in particular is very dangerous. All of our group mentioned the issue of the floor and apparently it was not a once off incident.

Berowra Waters is the perfect place for a quiet lunch or dinner in a relaxing river-front atmosphere.

A family lunch with four young children was made more relaxing by the open marina views. Nothing fancy here but well cooked fish and chips made by friendly staff. No problem to buy several serves and share them out for the little ones on extra plates. Prices are good value and its BYO but bring your own glasses if you don't appreciate plastic cups. Enjoy.

If you are a Sydneysider and have never venture to the Berowra Waters, you are missing something! This inlet on the Hawkes River is such a peaceful, beautiful area that you feel so fortunate to be living within a short drive. The Fish Cafe adds to this beautiful experience! Tourists would die to come to such a scenic spot and have their coffee/meals but it is a hidden gem unless you have your own car.
We had a lovely brunch with great coffee. The Wagyu beef burger is so juicy and delicious. The thick cut chips, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The serve is quite substantial and we definitely got value for money! The view from where you sit and boats moored on the waters. Just awesome!!
We also walked to the pier and took the ferry across to the other side where there is also another cafe. The menu there a lot more expensive but then with the cars right in the front queuing for the ferry, it wasnt our choice of a peaceful brunch with car smog in your nostril. We had a walk and went back to the Fish Cafe.
The service at the Fish Cafe is self serve, order and wait. All very respectful since the meals come out very quickly. You will be surprised how many patrons are there with their dogs sitting obediently! The whole environment is family, pets and boats on the water but peaceful, beautiful and sipping your coffee and eating your burger!! Hmmm Nice!
