I grew up in Rhode Island, the last of six children. When our parents would take us anywhere for dinner, when the waitress asked for my order, my older brothers and sisters would speak over me saying "He's having the fried clams!". In Rhode Island when you order fried clams that means whole belly clams not strips!!! It is rare to find them, and rare to find them cooked right. Bostons nails the whole belly clams as well as having superfresh sweet scallops. Would go back in a heartbeat!!! They also have friendly accommodating wait staff. Ask for Shannon she was the bomb!

Food is average or just below. Price between 30 & 40 for two. Ok if you need a fill up. Not a destination dining experience.

We had heard & read some awful reviews on this place so we never went to it. Then one day speaking with some friends who had just been, said it was awesome with fish brought in from Ipswich, MA. So we tried it. Our server, Lauren B., was very good! She did say the original owners re-bought the restaurant back & they are back on track. We tried NE Clam chowder, fish & chips made with cod & clam strips. The only negative comment is, that it’s a bit expensive. But worth it!!! The restaurant is only on the 1st floor.
6 Oz clam strip plate $14.95, 8 Oz fish & chips $17.95, cup of chowder $3.95, ice tea$2.95 & a Sangria $5 = $47.73 without tip.

Seafood was pretty expensive so we went with burgers. No regrets. Done to perfection. Onion rings were out of this world. Crunchy, not greasy. Asiago cheese mashed potatoes not so good. Great wait staff. Very friendly.
