Dogs must be on leach. Fun in the water and room to lay a blanket and sit. A little bit of a walk so remember to bring everything. No food or water available. No lifeguard. But a fun day at the beach for the dogs !

They are rebuilding the wooden pathway so its a little further walk to the water than normal but very doable and as usual the dogs love it . jt

This park occupies the entire tip of the peninsula and is a jewel saved by whoever had the foresight to save it. It's a gorgeous, natural seaside park with a fantastic boardwalk and pristine beaches. I was thinking just how awful it would have been had this park gone to developers and served as the home to several high-rise condos it would have been a terrible shame. Kudos to whoever saved this land for people to enjoy for all time.

Compared to the "regular" beach with all the cars driving around and people going crazy, we were looking for a quiet and relaxed alternative in NSB! We found it here at the northern end of the Smyrna Dunes Park! The entrance is 10$ and worth the money. We saw lots of Pelicans and probably one of the most gorgeous sunsets :) the water there is also a little warmer on the inlet. Bring a tent or umbrella - it gets hot!

Everyone said what a wonderful place this was for dogs so we went. It's $10 day or $20 for an annal pass. We asked for the pass and was told we couldn't get it unless we were from Florida. Since we are, she agreed to the pass. Since we had a dog, she told us we couldn't use the boardwalk since it was after ten. We weren't given a map or any guidelines. We found a place to park and wandered toward the beach only to be asked to leave by a NASA employee. We wandered back and followed some people with dogs. The area was under construction which is why the sign weren't clear. The walk was long and extremely hot. When we got to the dog beach it was rather small and crowded with other dogs--some left off their leashes by their owners. There was a nice area to clean the dogs and give them water.
