A beautiful, modern hotel with tons of history. Right on the beach. Whatever you wish; a day at the Spa, swim in the ocean or pool, golf, walk, sunbathe, have a cool drink or a fabulous dinner; Naples Beach Hotel offers the best for every member of the family.

We visited the Naples Beach Hotel and Golf resort with just a little trepidation having read some of the negative review's on Trip Advisor. it very quickly became apparent that the NBH is a great place to stay when visiting Naples. The entire resort is spotlessly clean and very well managed throughout. The food and beverages are all priced reasonably, considering the location of the resort.
I would have absolutely no hesitation returning to this hotel.

Room Tip: We stayed on the 8th floor of the Watkins block which was absolutely excellent.

We stay here with a business event every couple of years and each time we stay there have been new updates to the multi-building resort. Parking is still an issue - if only they could build a small parking garage....but the valets are the best! All facets of the service were extraordinary.

They might consider using the different buildings for 'different' types of visitors. A family section versus couples for example. We really miss the old pool - now it is just an open space of hot concrete.

As others have noted, the beach is beautiful and you are somewhat isolated. Visitors need to understand that this is typical of old time Florida. The beach is never usually near a 'downtown'. Maybe the resort should consider offering a free shuttle to a couple o the shopping districts. Also, they might want to work with the local Publix for a delivery service. Just a thought.

We will be back in a couple of years and look forward to another enjoyable stay.

Hotel has to many separate buildings , so if it is raining you are going to get wet.. Very limited parking. The room we stayed in had two levels, but is made of wood , so we heard every noise from the room above. Sounded like a heard of elephants walking around that didn't stop. What a pity that they would cut corners like this. It you 20 something ideal, but if you here to relax , not the right place.

Room Tip: Try as you may, but they dont seem to care what room they give you. I tried to get a room in one of the tall buildings but to no avail. Stay clear of the two level buildings near the pool.

The hotel is very well kept and we had a very comfortable room.
There weren't enough spaces in the car park when the hotel was busy so we had to park across the street on a number of occasions- this wasn't an issue for us.
The staff we encountered were very pleasant.
The adult pool was lovely, with an iced water dispenser to help yourself.
The location is great, right on the beach, but it means you have to drive or take a cab if you want to eat or drink anywhere other than at the hotel, as there is nowhere within walking distance.
Things are very expensive at the hotel- we paid $6 for a bottle of water- less than a litre- to take on the beach one day -we were too well mannered to fill a bottle from the water dispenser by the pool!
But were we well mannered enough to stay at the hotel?
For in the gift shop in the lobby, we came across a DVD guide to etiquette and fine dining produced by the hotel owner's wife!
It should have been called "How to patronise your guests"!
In addition, the hotel promises more than it delivers.
When we checked in to our room, we discovered, along with the room service breakfast order hanger to hang on your door the night before, another door hanger.
This one said you could request a time that housekeeping would clean your room during your stay.
Oh good we thought, being on vacation we ticked the box that said between 12 noon-1pm.
The next day the card had gone but it was well after 1 when they came to clean the room.
The following day they knocked on the door and called "housekeeping" at 8:50am!
I didn't see the point of filling in the card.
Considering nearly everywhere else offers it for free, the $9.95 daily wi-fi charge was a bit steep too.
We used to go to Einstein's bagels for breakfast where for not much more than the price of the wi-fi we could have a fabulous breakfast and check our e-mails!
We are not miserly and we know the hotel is expensive, but everyone likes a good deal, don't they?
We did enjoy our stay, beds are very comfortable, but a few lessons to be learned there for the hotel.
