We were passing through the area on our boat and stopped at the Moore Haven dock for the night. Pickens were a little slim on yelp and we were tired of eating on the boat....so we set out on foot for a mexican restaurant that wasn't where it said it was. A local zipped by on his golf cart and apparently we looked lost, so he pointed us towards this place. The white haired fellow (don't know if that's Gary or not?) let us take one of his menus back to the boat to show the husbands. It's a little dive bar, but the beer was cold, margarita was delicious and the burger was good! They also offered hand cut steaks, which sounded fabulous, but was a little more dinner than we were looking for. It was pretty late on a week night, and he told us to call ahead next time if we wanted a baked potato or to make sure they stayed open that late. They also said they'd deliver it to the boat.....and the waitress even volunteered to drive us back to our boat in her truck (it wasn't a far walk at all, maybe 1/3 of a mile)...talk about customer service!! Not going to lie, it's nothing even remotely fancy, but the two working were so nice and accommodating, I will definitely stop by next time we find ourselves on the river!
