Recently discovered the Kos Natural Park Zia. What a pleasant surprise it was. Couple euros to get in. Very clean well presented park on the side of a hill. Not good if you have difficulty walking though. Couple of animals including family of dear, donkeys, rabbits, turtles etc. All seam happy and well cared for. The views are amazing in every direction. Little refreshment room up there. Great prices. And absolutely fantastic views from the picnic tables. There’s also some hammocks in the trees near the top to relax in. Well worth a visit if in the area or visiting the beautiful town of Zia.

Amazing view and the donkey and baby were so beautiful and friendly - instantly came over to us for affection, was clear they wanted some company. Feel very sorry for the animals in small, lonely enclosures :(

We walked all the way to the top for the view and watched the beautiful sunset from the hammock as we kissed and talked!

This is a lovely place to watch the sunset, but it does get busy due to the large number of tourist buses which decend in the village each evening. That said it is still worth it, there are plenty of souvenir shops and placed to drink and eat.
