Bazar turned out I be everything we hope for. Jose Andres is a master of gastronomy and a magician with ingredients. We ordered off a chef’s menu and each dish delighted, surprised and satiated. The service is as expected, fantastic and the experience both one for the eyes, mouth and nose. Definitely a fan and happy to have celebrated here.

I went to the Bazaar with my boyfriend who is from Asturias like the the chef, Jose Andres. The food was amazing! Even in Spain, it would be considered great Spanish food. The croquetas were the best I have ever tried. The escalivada with pan tomaca was also delicious. Overall, we had a great experience. Our waiter, Johnny, was also really great since he expalined the whole menu to us and helped us figure out what were the most iconic dishes to order. My only negative comments are about the hostesses, who were rude and unprofessional, and the loud noise in the restaurant since its in the entrace of the SLS hotel.

Place super cool, all seats super comfy, great vibrant music (good place for a date!), beautiful lighting, lots of cool details.. just great environment! The food was absolutely surprising: what we read on the menu did no justice at all to the beautifully handcrafted and harmonized dishes ! Each one gave us a wow moment! Don’t be scared of the dishes description and just go for it (order!), you’ll definitely like even the items you’re not such a fan!!! Our waiters were proactive, nice, friendly and enthusiastic about the food, we had Johnny serving us and also a Latin/ Spanish one (forgot the name sorry)that we’re just brilliant ! Only complaint is we had a couple next to our table that was totally drunk and speaking super loud - the “lady” was so unmannered that the more we felt uncomfortable the louder she got (soooo skanky)!! They were even giving full on kisses et al argh, AND now this was a crime: they were getting super closer to their waiter like talking as friends, laughing hard and loud and the waiter felt so at ease there having fun that he literally sat on top of my table (yeah butt pointing at my face!!!) to find some butt support to keep on chatting!!! When we complaint he literally whispered on the “lady”’s ear that we were being buzz killers and that they shouldn’t mind us !!!!! CRIMINAL was disgusted by the impoliteness!!!! Sautée shrimps delicious, endives divine and delicate, the paella like dish beautiful and the baby peaches were heaven!!! Also had great wine (a Pinot noir from Oregon was a big surprise!), and key lime tart + honey ice cream with candy oranges and goat cheese mousse - loved every bite of it!!!!! Now would i go back? Due to this waiter behavior probably not (sad, eh?). Note: prices were a little off!!! Around usd 250 for 4 tapas sized dishes, 2 desserts, 1 bottle water, 2 glasses of wine and 1 kir royal drink, so $$$$$$

Our dinner but for the incessant arguing couple next to us in Portuguese for over 2 hours was a nice wedding celebration. Our server was Marti who explained the menu in almost a chemistry class level. We started with the charcuterie of iberico ham and Spanish cold cuts. We had the caprece salad followed by chicken and ham croquettes and the Cuban coffee rubbed churasco and the shrimp in ink with noddles. My wife finished with the reconstruction of key lime pie. The plates are generally small as it is a tapas experience. Very tasty although the shrimp in ink was a bit salty although tasty.
