We did a family cruise and arranged with Pahola to stay here before our cruise. They had a welcome sign in lobby for us, they also arranged a shuttle early for our entire group. They have free MIA shuttle and a $10 shuttle to the port. Beautiful lobby and lots of tables to sit and chat at, pool table, chess and food and drinks. Pool area nice and very large with a big chess game to play and large tables and deck chairs. Super close to airport and walking distance to liquor store and food. Liquor prices at their bar extremely over priced but the personal pizza was amazing!! Rooms awesome and have a mini fridge and balconies.

This hotel was quite a disappointment. I did research and read many reviews, and thought I was making a good choice. Turns out I was very wrong! All of the staff we encountered were unpleasant - rude, unfriendly and sassy attitudes. Room was small and would benefit from an update. If you're planning to partake in the 'continental breakfast' make sure that your reservation explicitly states that it is included - if not, you'll have to pay an extra $11 plus tax, per person. When I checked out, they wouldn't even give me a receipt for payment, and stated 'you'll get it from the site you booked through.' Overall, not impressed with the hotel or staff AT ALL.

The Regency was clean but needs some improvement in their service.
The bathroom had only one wash cloth.
It took almost an act of Congress to get another.
The lounge was nice, but the food was not great. The 2 Bartenders were to busy socializing instead of serving customers.
They allowed children 10 to 12 years old to sit at the bar and eat and drink soda.
The Bartenders paid attention to the kids, while ignoring the adults.

Overall, manged with excellence. A break down in staff communications resulted in no action on my request for an additional blanket. I sent an email and received an immediate reply from the Rooms Division Manager and the matter was instantly fixed. Great front desk service by Adalicia, Jessie, and Guillermo and Federico. The drivers of the airport shuttle speak minimal English but are friendly and very helpful.

Room Tip: Avoid room at roof level: the air con units. If breakfast is not included in the reservation, you will have to pay extra for it.

Our room was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly. Had to search for towels. The breakfast was terrible, utter chaos.There wasn't enough food and no meat. It served our purpose but probably won't book this hotel next year.
