Description: Nearly a year after closing its Collins Avenue location, the iconic 40-year-old Cuban cafe alights on Alton Road, settling into a smaller SoBe space with blue-and-black tiled floors and its signature walk-up window where locals get their morning cafecito fix. The menu includes breakfast staples like fried eggs and bacon, plus classics like Cubano Sandwich and churrasco (grilled beef) that never grow old.

As usual we use to have a Colada that’s fantastic
Today we’d a lunch with some friends
The Tostada is great, hot with butter...
Freshly made Chicken salad, club sandwich, deep fried breaded chicken steak, empanadas and fresh grouper sandwich....and a great Cuban beer...
Great ! Prices? Great too

Terrific service. Great Fung-ho attitude from the staff. The coffee is amazing, and the same can be said for their breakfast. The parking (free!!) is easy!! Can’t wait to go back!!

Stopped here as part of a culinary tour. The Cuban sandwich was very average. My wife really enjoyed the Cuban coffee. One real plus is that there is free parking in the parking lot next to the café.

I’ve been here many times for cortaditos & pastries.
Their coffee is great & I love the desserts & pastelitos.
I had chicken with yellow rice & vegetables, & some picadillo.
Everyone enjoyed their food, but the service could be a lot better :-/
