This place should be shut down. The staff have never had to try and park a RV in their life if they think any of their sites are pull thrus that can accommodate a 38 foot with a tow. We specifically asked them and they said no problem. The 50 amp sites all sit on a hill and impossible to park on. Their pull thrus barely can fit an RV , nose to nose , office help after they run your cc is not much, no one cares. Sleep will never come here because the kids in the park are allowed to run wild and scream all night, dogs run loose, and drunk campers bang on your units after it gets dark. This place makes deliverance look like a walk in the park. 36.00 a night, no cable tv, no wifi, keep going if you are thinking of staying here.

Do not stay here because this campground is in need of major renovations. WiFi only works periodically. No cable as advertised. Staff not friendly. Pool is all broken with jagged edges. Showers do not have any place to place your clothes. Nothing to do here for children.

Room Tip: For same price you can stay at the Florida Caverns State Park.

This is our 2nd time here, just overnight both times. The first time was 7 years ago and it's gone downhill since then. We looked forward to the Up the Creek Restaurant, but it's only open 10 am until 2 pm; we arrived at 3:30 pm. Our electricity went off several times. There was no cable TV. We had a pull-thru site, but it wasn't very level; grass. Our 35' motorhome and toad barely fit in the site. Cost was $36/night--pricey for what you get.

Don't believe all the reviews for this campground - only the negative ones.
Roads are bumpy in need of scraping. No tables. No fire rings, weak intermittent Wi-Fi, no cable TV since February '16, most sites no shade.
However there is an excellent restaurant at entrance.

We had a relaxing visit. The folks in charge are friendly and courteous. You can't beat the views of the cypress and wildlife. All the same this place is a bit long on the tooth (although management is upgrading. Try not to use the waterfront campsites if you intend to use the sewer system, it might be challenging.
All in all we are going back.
