Went for a week's stay with my daughter, her husband and baby, and my teenage daughter. Upon arrival, the unit was very clean. Almost well equipped. Short on necessary staples such as garbage bags & dish soap and frying pans. We called management company and they promptly delivered a frying pan and dish soap. I will start with the not so good part of the review. The unit description states a "pullout" in the living room. No pullout, anywhere. A recliner does not constitute a pullout. Unit outdated, but that can be overlooked. The sliding glass doors however, cannot be overlooked. They are just about impossible to operate. Extremely heavy and difficult to open and close. Broke quite a few nails just trying to open them. Elderly people will seriously never be able to operate these doors. They need to be replaced. We tried WD40 to make opening easier. Did not even help a little. We arrived on a Wednesday. From Wednesday through Friday there was construction going on in the unit above and below us. This was a nightmare. The constant pounding, drilling, sawing made it impossible to stay in the room during the day. It was so loud we literally had to yell over the noise. It sounded like they were inside our room. We had an infant with us and could not be in the room for naptime, lunchtime, or just to relax. We recorded the noise on our phone. Ridiculous! We called the management company and they basically said there was nothing they could do. They did not know of the construction. I definitely think it is their job to know. That unit should never have been rented during the construction period. I fully believe we should get a partial refund for those days. Something. On a better note.... If these issues are resolved.... The unit was in a fantastic location in the complex. Right down the elevator is the pool and the beach access. The pool area very nice with charcoal grills. The beach very clean and amazing. The view from the room is amazing. The balcony equipped with very nice furniture to either eat or relax and watch the activities on the beach. Only a few hundred feet down the beach there is water sports equipment to rent at a reasonable price. Hobie Cats, Paddle Boards, Kayaks, Jet Ski's, Parasailing. Very, very nice addition. Plenty to do in the area such as sunset cruises, daily boat rentals, shopping, fine dining and very decent restaurants. We never had a bad meal. We grocery shopped and ate breakfast and lunch in, then out to dinner at night. All in all, if the above things were addressed, a very nice place to spend a vacation.
