We booked........not sure if that was necessary, but every table was taken, so to avoid disappointment probably wise to do so.
The atmosphere is set for romantic couples, however having said that, a large group of 10 were dining and it added to the atmosphere in a good way.
The staff are knowledgable and very competent. It was a pleasure from start to finish.
The food.......is to die for, this was my first visit and was unsure what to have. This was a family trip, so we ended up with a good mix. Tri pasta in pink sauce.....divine washed down with a glass of Borolo. Butter nut squash cannelloni......gorgeous. Wild boar with wild boar ravioli......rich and succulent. Homemade meatballs and fusilli........very tasty. There isn't room for dessert.......but!
They brought the choice of sweets on a tray, showing them in all there glory.........impossible to resist!
It's all fabulous....but the pick, if forced into it........fresh made Tiramisu. So light and fluffy.......yet possibly packed with glorious calories!
I'm very critical, especially with food, I can't fault this restaurant in anyway, go you won't regret it. It's not cheap, but then the best things rarely are.
