The free shuttle to parks: Universal Studios, Disney etc is what drew us to this hotel. The rooms and bathroom were of a comfortable size and clean but the shuttle service was quite disappointing. We wanted to stay fro the fireworks at Disney and did so but as the last Shuttle had left for the hotel hours ago we had to get a really expensive cab drive home. We also paid dearly to and from the airport. We still wanted to explore Ripleys and a few other places but without a car it is a very daunting task. At least there are a few fast food outlets within walking distance. The Shuttles are also very full and the times that they are available is very limited. The shuttle also picks up people from several other hotels. Not a bad hotel but hire a car.

Don't choose this hotel!! Just so much to mention but for starters had trouble with our room charges. Hotel went in and out of account three times while we were on our vacation told us they were charging us up front instead of when checking out with card on file(have never had this happen before at any other hotel ever). We chose this hotel because of location but when we got there the hotel was so run down inside and out...Our car was broken into the second night we were there(talk about vacation ruined). The continental breakfast had ants crawling on juice dispenser(ate breakfast out the following days)another added expense....The shuttle only had 1 leave time in morning and would only drop off at 1 park with many,many stops in between so ended up taking 2 cars to Disney which was another added expense each car,each day is $14.00 dollars a day to park...Amenities were not at all how portrayed on internet...Please save your money and your vacation and stay somewhere else...

Dear Rebecca -

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on our hotel. We strive to exceed guest expectations and we are sorry we did not exceed yours. When checking in, we always authorize the credit card of the reservation unless the guest has an alternate method payment. We also do an authorization for incidentals. I am not quite sure what happened with your account and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

In regards to the car break-in, it was my understanding from the staff that the incident was reported but a call to police was refused as the car was left unlocked.

We thank you for bringing the "ant sightings" to our attention as we had not had any reported issues before reading your review. We have regular pest control from a national company that this has been turned over too. I am sorry you ate breakfast out each morning. The muffins and danish are brought fresh daily and we also have cereal, milk, fresh fruit and toast.

As far as the complimentary scheduled park transporation, times are selected for the times that most of the guests request transportation and park hours. Many parks close early during slow season.

I would like to let you know we are in the process of renovating our property - fresh paint, furniture, and lots of good things happening. I would also love to have you back so we can exceed your expectations. Please call either the DOS or GM to make your reservation and receive a special discount. Once again, our apologizes for any issues you encountered.

This is an excellent location close to all parks if you have a car. Although the hotel provides free shuttle to all parks, but the schedule did not suit our schedule. When we were there, we saw them putting in new furnitures. We requested the room with the new furniture, and the staffs were very helpful to find one of them for us. The beds are elevated like the one we have in our master bedroom at home, and they are very comfortable to sleep in. The room was freshly painted, and the internet speed was very good. There are many good restaurants within walking distance.

This hotel was very run down! I was tricked by an Expedia agent into booking this room. Gave me the Travelodge number when I thought it was the Howard Johnson! I booked a King Jacuzzi suite only to find a Queen sized bed... if you're goint to give me a Qeen the SAY IT'S A QUEEN! I booked the room and was not told that the tax would be 13%. The deal went from $79 to $111. THEY DO NOT TELL YOU ABOUT THE TAXES! FOR THAT MUCH MONEY I COULD HAVE GONE TO A MORE REPUTABLE CHAIN DOWN THE STREET! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE WHEN I CALLED FOR AN EXPLANATION!

SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND JUST GO DOWN THE STREET TO A BETTER HOTEL!

We booked non-smoking room with kitchenette but when we arrived staff only offered us a smoking room and we were told that the hotel is full - really, they did not even bother to tell us that the room was the smoking one: we found out ourselves when entered by the smell....Only after half an hour negotiations we were able to secure a non-smoking room but without kitchenette and still for the same price. The room was so so... Hotel don't really bother to maintain rooms because of the good location and constant demand. Also free breakfast was "horrible experience" when they serve all hotel guests in the very very very small room - there is no place to sit, to stand and you wait for your turn to get to very poor selection of foods.
