This is a good property for a large family or two families wanting to share costs, but it is not really the high-end advertised. The rental price is a little high for the area considering that the house is dated and in need of some TLC, but it is large (6 beds, 3 baths), has an open layout, and is well-equipped and reasonably clean. The games room is just a couple of well-worn tables set up in the garage.
The property has a nice screened-in pool/spa. Pool heating was included in our price but, if it was on, the temperature was set a few degrees below comfortable (even for snowbirds), and the pool was not cleaned during the month we stayed. The spa is on a timer limiting use to between noon and 9 pm. The pool area receives sun in the morning through to mid-afternoon (February). The backyard is fenced and backs onto a wooded area and is private. The neighbourhood is quiet (not gated). The property manager (Marcy) is responsive to emails and quickly replaced the gas BBQ when notified that the old one was not safe.
This property is situated close to the Florida amusement parks (Universal, Disney, LegoLand, FunSpot) and there are plenty of shopping and dining options in the area. It is roughly equidistant from both coasts if you want a beach day (1 to 1.5 hour drive). All things considered, it was still a good choice for us and our extended family and we enjoyed our stay.
This house was great, there was nothing wrong with the house and everything was as advertised and it was very clean. They would come and cut the grass in the backyard and clean the pool (it was clean when we got there). Recommend it!!
