We will remember our anniversary dinner at Louie's Backyard for many years to come! We walked in at 7:30 and the sun was shedding some gorgeous light on the deck and water beyond. We were given a romantic spot under the canopy to look out at all the diners on the open deck, and then the fun began. We ordered small plates with wonderful wine, and our Belgian waiter entertained us with funny stories about life on the island. The seared bacon wrapped diver scallops were cooked to perfection. The roasted beet and pear salad was a fun mix of flavors with rochetta cheese melted in my mouth. By ordering small plates, no dessert/coffee, we were able to keep this dinner to a reasonable amount for Key West.
