This was our first time staying here. WE LOVED IT! The staff was amazing, the location was amazing, the grounds were amazing. It was very private, considering it is only a block from Duval. We will absolutely be back.

Had a great experience here while in town celebrating my Birthday. The women who checked us in was so nice and even walked us to our room and then gave us a tour of the property telling us much of the background of the historic place. She really went above and beyond. We had TH2 which was great. Ive never stayed in a room with such cold air conditioning. This room has a pool that feel like its your own private pool. We also interacted daily with the women who works the breakfast counter. She was also just so friendly and talkative. I enjoyed chatting with her each morning as we got our free coffee and bagels. We will definitely stay here again next time in Key West.

We have stayed here in almost every cottage and several of the rooms. Always perfect. A literal paradise right off Duval so close enough to the action but far enough to be quiet and relaxing. The staff is fabulous and will do anything and everything to make your stay enjoyable. And our favorite part is the cats that live on property. They are adorable and always greet us on our porch. We won’t stay anywhere else!!

We stopped on Tuesday morning exhausted from our debacle the night before. We had rented a houseboat to stay on that turned out to be a nightmare and desperately needed a place to stay. Paula greeted us with a smiling face and sympathetic ears. She let us whine while she set us up in the most gorgeous room I have ever seen. Then, she gave us a map with all the hot spots marked, a tour of the property, showed us to our room, fed us breakfast.....and totally saved our vacation. The room was spotless. The grounds are gorgeous and serene (they have 4 pools for goodness sake!). And the customer service is top notch. We will definitely be back. Thanks, Paula!

We stayed one night in March of last year and we didn't want to leave. This historic hotel is beautiful and in a great location in downtown old city Key West near Duval street but away from all the confusion. It was quite pricey but definitely worth it. It is made up of small cottages and larger buildings with more than one room. We were on the top floor (I think it was the 3rd) in one of the rooms and there was no elevator so taking up our large suitcases was a little tough but we managed. We took a rate with wifi and breakfast included but we had to pay extra for parking and we parked right in front of the inn. There are 4 pools, one main one and 3 smaller ones and the grounds are beautiful full of plants and gorgeous orchids everywhere. Our room was a nice size very nicely decorated with airconditioning and a ceiling fan, a large king bed with high ceilings and very spacious. The bathroom had a large walk in shower and there was a little terrace with 2 chairs. There was a safe, a minibar and an iron and ironing board. The only negative point I would say is that the old fashioned wooden windows do not keep out air and traffic noise and the blinds let in a lot of light. Breakfast was served al fresco and was very nice: coffee, tea, juices, yogurt, fresh fruit, bagels, toast and toaster waffles all served by friendly laid back staff. Coffee and tea, iced and hot are always available by the main pool. We had a car but walked everywhere, lots of shops and restaurants close by. If we are ever in Key West again we will definitely return.
