Ok First what needs work. Villas are aging and need updating. Floors in unit not as clean as they should be. But anytime we called front desk, it was addressed ASAP. Like fixing a/c, batteries for remote, more towels.
We had a wonderful week! Super pool. Grounds are groomed daily. Tiki bar had good food: wow fish tacos, mahi sandwich and good burgers. Drinks were good too. Staff is terrific. I love this place!

Fifth stay at this this resort it is so beautiful, quiet and well managed. All new furniture on the screened porch and dining and living room last year, this year they starting the bedrooms. Don't miss the Marine Science Eco Experience a free presentation for all ages it was very informative the marine biologist Garrett was very entertaining. If you like the environment of the Keys this is the resort to stay at, the mangroves along the back are home to all sorts of interesting sea life. Cabs to the Duval/Seaport area are about 16.00-17.00 before tip for 2 people. There is a bus stop less than a half mile away and I think you can ride that all week for 8.00. It is walking distance to Hurricane Hole Marina which has a good restaurant/bar and home to Lazy Dog kayaking, Stock Island also has some other good dining options. There is also a Tiki Bar on the property that serves food.

Room Tip: Buildings on the west side are quieter than the ones on Cow Creek Channel

This is a nice resort especially for families. It is away from the hustle bustle of Duval which could be a positive or negative depending on your preference of vacation. We spent quite a bit on taxis/Ubers during our week stay because we like being closer to the action. There are a few places you can walk to like Hurricane Hole or the Marriott Beachside Bar next door for lunch or cocktails. The grounds are very nice and we loved the screened in porch. Everyone at the front desk and the concierge (I believe his name was Al) were very friendly and helpful.

This is my home resort through the Hyatt. When there last year, they were redecorating condos. I’ve yet to see in person, but it was due for updated furnishings.

Love the zero entry pool. The beach is very small, but still nice to be able to access the water from our resort. There are a few tables on the dock to eat lunch or enjoy the tradewinds. Last time there, a manatee swam up to the beach. That was fun!

There is also a tiki bar with a small lunch menu. Food and drinks were very good.

Across the way via a few minute walk to Stock Island are a few restaurants as well as kayak/paddle board rental. This resort is away from the hustle and bustle of KW. As much as I like the calm atmosphere, sometimes I don’t feel like I’m in KW until I leave the resort.

Utilize a bus pass if there for any length of time as cabs get pricey. Biking down to the wharf is also fun. The local bike shops will drop bikes off on the grounds if you choose to do so.

The staff is very friendly and happy to recommend dining and adventure options for you. The concierge can also make reservations for you.

A beautiful property with a nice beach, fishing dock, pool and Tiki Bar. It is 3.5 miles from downtown but that is the beauty of it, and you are out of the hustle and bustle when you want to be. Great fully equipped kitchen. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Buildings A and B are best for the view of the pool and the waterway
