What would you expect when you first see this colorful place? Party?
Well, you might bring your group here and party all night long. Or you can take them here to have an relaxing stay with a great variety of things to do.
Let me just mention what you find on the premises. Racquetball court, tennis court, air hockey, paddle boards, kayak, bikes, jacuzzi, table tennis, billiard, x-box? (who have time) oceanfront, barbecue etc.
Even a group of 20 will have plenty of space. No probleme to withdraw from the group if you want some privacy.
There are two houses on the premises you can use. One with two bedrooms, bathroom and racquetball court. The main building houses the rest of the bedrooms.
It's located at the end of a road, so there is no traffic at all. The nearest neighbor is across the street and on the other side of the tennis court. From the pool area you face some houses across the channel.
You can jump into the water just outside your door, or you can relax at the pool side. In the afternoon, when the sun is starting to go down, you can move to the top balcony and enjoy it some more hours.
It will take you 10 minutes + to drive to Key West, depending on traffic. Best choice it to take a cab. (6,50 pr, person when this is written) Or just use one of the bikes that comes with your rent. It's a 25-40 minutes ride, depending on your pace.
Remember to watch the beautiful sunrise early in the morning.
Recommended for a larger party or a large family
Wow what a house, it is the Perfect house to stay if you want to have a nice week in Key West. We where 20 friends that celebrated our 50th birthday, both from US and Norway. We got the Lazy Week we where looking for and the house was perfect for us. Bedrooms for 20 People, a lot of space inside and outside the house, kitchen worked fine for 20 persons and also coolers and fridge outside, barbecue, pool, and great pooldeck just outside the door.
This house gave us everything we dreamed of, we enjoyed a lot of fun with kayaks and paddle boards, we jumped in the ocean and used the swimming pool and the jacuzzi, played billiards under the tiki hut, bike rides in to Duval Street, you name it this house got it.
My friends and I hope we can be back some day.
Thank you Andrew and Aric
The house was just as pictured. The colors are bright, vivid and tropical-- it's a super-fun, well kept house. In fact, the caretaker Aric was often on the property, cleaning the pool and doing other maintenance. I cannot express how RELAXING it was for us to be here. We were three couples, with five teenagers and three younger children (ages 7, 6 and 3) between us, and stayed two nights. We had total peace and harmony the entire time-- that's how much fun everyone was having! We woke up early, took out kayaks and paddle boards, came back for a swim and a dip in the jacuzzi, fished (with our own equipment), played billiards under the tiki hut outside, tennis, ping pong-- we didn't even get around to using the air hockey or bikes because we were so busy with everything else. Because all these amenities are right on the property, all the children and adults were able to enjoy themselves on their own schedules, which was the perfect recipe for us all to relax. (We didn't even leave the house until 5 pm, and did that just to join in the Key West sunset celebrations.) The stars at night were lovely. I highly recommend this property and hope to return next year.
Stayed here with a large family group recently. The house is very spacious and comfortably fit our group of 20 although the sharing of bathrooms gets a bit old by the end of a week. Kitchen is dated but well-equipped. Plenty of kayaks, SUPs, bikes, fishing gear, tennis gear, racquetball equipment all at your disposal and also awesome to have a dock where you can keep a boat (which we rented).
The property manager Aric was super nice and readily available with any questions.
What we did not like (and this was certainly the consensus of all in our group) is that the house is very tired at this point and it seems long overdue for some updating. Just lots of little things like worn, stained carpets; old not so comfy mattresses and bedding (I bought pillows at the local Kmart for $5.99 that were an upgrade from what was provided); tiles falling out and missing from the pool; deck area very worn and especially the second floor outside deck had a bunch of flimsy broken lounge chairs; house clean but yet look in corners and it's not really clean (plus some mold around); broken window shades... etc, etc.
With some TLC we all thought this could be a great place, but it was not nearly as nice as the photos and that was disappointing to all in our group.

Staying here was probably one of the best decisions we have made for our Trip to Key West. All the other decisions, like drinking way too much, staying up too late, partying crazy, not so good decisions!!! Very spacious, four full bathrooms plus and eight bedrooms, a great sitting area, huge ocean view porches, docks, awesome dining area and a large kitchen. Located in Key West, with amazing views of the ocean and the Gulf! Caretaker really catered to our needs. There was a taxi ready whenever you needed one. . Awesome heated pool and hot tubs, bikes, paddle boards, tennis court, racket ball court, basketball hoop, pool table, ping pong table and the list goes on...would definitely stay here again.
