We ate here twice during our trip. The yellow tail smapper was very well prepared. The restuarant is still suffering from the hurricane in September, They only have outside seating, which we loved. The kitchen is in a trailer and they ae using pastic dinnerware until the interior is renovated. We had good waiters both times and really enjoyed our food.

We’ve gone to Snappers for 35 years for cocktails and appetizers. Unfortunately we had dinner there for the first time this evening and it was atrocious. The service was slow. The seafood bisque tasted like tomato soup with too much salt in it. The fish tacos were marginal at best. The fish sandwiches were average at best. Frankly I will never go back again. And on top of it they added a 20% gratuity to the bill with no notice to us ahead of time. I guess they knew their service didn’t deserve a tip.

Great location to walk to from holiday inn in key largo. Yummy seafood and large portions.

Live music. Big tiki bar.
Sand and firepits with chairs.
Giant jenga in sand to play.
Off marina to watch boats come and go.

Snapper's was hit hard by Hurricane Irma, and is slowly recovering. We visited for lunch a few days ago, and it was very sad to see what happened to it. This was one of our favorite spots to eat during past visits, and it was hard to see what it looks like now. Having said that, the bar is open, and the food coming from the truck is excellent; our meal was one of the best we have had this visit to Key Largo. Only outdoor seating, at the bar and a few small tables along the surviving dock. Still well worth a visit, especially for lunch. And it will make you feel good to support a storm victim working hard to recover.

Still under repair. No inside seating. Food truck with plastic ware. Small plastic cups for drinks. Too many better places to go until they get back to normal. Prices are high for plastic plates.
