What a great vacation resort for relaxing in your own pool, to exploring for adventures, to resting on the beach. Look at the Visitor’s Guide that was prepared for the visitor’s to peruse. It has everything listed from places to see and discover, great restaurants in the area, local stores for shopping, etc. There really is nothing you shall need or want that is not provided in your stay. Enjoy!

This air-conditioned, multi-bedroom, resort home with screened pool/jacuzzi is conveniently located near I-95 and minutes from many attractions (lighthouse, museums, nature parks, beach, restaurants, and shopping malls). In addition, Jupiter is only a 2 hour drive to Orlando, home of Disney World and Universal Studios. The facility is in immaculate condition, and is fully equipped with linens, towels, cooking equipment. This resort home was complete, making our vacation perfect!

The time spent at Shadey Acres was really nice. The house was beautiful, spacious and very clean and accommodated all twelve of us very comfortably. We had a group with age ranges from 62 to 15 mos. and there was something for everyone, pool, spa, games (indoor and outside), walking, biking, meals outside in the covered and screened lanai and pool area and the home is really close to the ocean beaches. As a matter of fact some of us biked to the beach (about 12 miles). Roger Dean Stadium is only a couple of minutes away and there are some nice golf courses right nearby. In fact, everything is very accessible, the house is just a mile of the main road, (Indiantown Rd) and only a couple of miles from I95 and the Florida turnpike, so you can get to most places in really good time. Really great shops and malls are only minutes away, but the house is located in a totally private large yard in a neighborhood great for biking and walking.
There was plenty of everything inside the home, the beds were plush, the fluffy towels and bed linens were really high end, even beach towels. The beds were super comfortable. Lots of extra blankets and pillows. Even with a large group, we all slept comfortably and had privacy. The kitchen was well stocked - kitchen utensils, pots pans, baking pans, slow cookers (2-one big enough for a turkey), and all the small appliances we are used to at home. Lots of colorful dishes, high end flatware and plenty of glass ware, even plastic to use pool side. There is even spices and oils, and complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, cream … the works. The kitchen, as with the rest of the residence, was carefully thought out. The game room has lots of indoor games for a day at home, along with a bumper pool table which was fun. Several of the TV's included extra cables (including HDMI) for our X-Box usage, we really liked that! The trunk in the game room has tons of outdoor games (even real horseshoes and bocce ball) and basket, football and soccer balls. The basketball net outside got a lot of use! The huge front yard was perfect for football or soccer.

The pool was heated and the spa amazing. The landscaping is beautiful around the pool and the yard and paddocks are natural. (By the way there is a big barn on the property, we didn’t bring horses but it was great to store our bikes!) We enjoyed breakfast on the patio, early morning swims, and relaxing in the hot tub at night. The pool deck has a trunk of pool toys, the kids loved that. Shadey Acres even supplies beach chairs, umbrellas and cooler for the beach in pool shed. It has little details like an outside shower and even a retractable clothes line and lots of hooks to hang up the wet stuff! Of course there is a full laundry room with washer, dryer and folding table.

We really enjoyed the special touches – snack basket on arrival, games, beach towels and wonderful smelling hair shampoo. There was even a little basket in the kitchen with items you may have forgotten.

There is a welcome book that includes lots of great information about the house and the surrounding shopping areas, restaurants and area attractions. Everything in the house was clearly marked, including light switches, kitchen items and TV remotes so everything was easy to find and very simple to use. They even have phone numbers for pizza and Chinese delivery posted on the refrigerator!

For a fun Florida vacation we highly recommend Jupiter and Shadey Acres.

My wife and I visited this wonderful hideaway in the sprawling countryside of Jupiter Farms in suntastic South Florida. We were pleasantly surprised to find such a wonderfully appointed, comfortable home within a short drive of the fabulous beaches of Florida's Treasure Coast. Jupiter was ranked 9th overall of Americas Happiest Seaside Towns by Coastal Living in 2012. Who would have thought that a mere 15 minute drive from the ocean would unveil such a splendid horse friendly vacation rental that literally knocked my socks (and boots too) off!
Conveniently located to a local Publix grocery store, restaurants and pharmacies in an absolutely beautiful country setting. Everything in the tastefully decorated house was in order, the kitchen was a delight to cook in and the setting is just fabulous. I highly recommend staying here if you are in search of a totally relaxing and layed back vacation. The owners are super friendly and accommodating and treated us like family. I only wish I had a horse to bring along, the scenic countryside on horseback would be the pièce de résistance.
