If you're in the Jupiter area, plan to visit the Wildlife Sanctuary. They have a lot of different animals. We've never seen so many ACTIVE turtles before -- check out the pond. We liked how they had an alligator and a crocodile displayed side by side so you could see the differences. Of course, our favorite were the panthers.

This was a neat sanctuary with a good variety of animals. Paths were clear and it only is donations to visit. Wish the visitors center and gift shop were open the day we came by.

If you live in Jupiter you visit once a week, if you are visiting you should take a stroll in this beautiful paradise for our wildlife. You can bring a pick nick basket and eat under the pavilion which provides many tables and seating. There is no food nor drinks available. They have 2 pubic bathrooms which are very clean. They also have activities for children at specific times so call ahead for info, including summer camp. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable about all the wildlife. Please stop by the small store by the entrance, there are very nice things to choose from. They welcome donations as they are a nonprofit. You will love the serenity you feel as you walk through the trees that provide shade as you walk through the trails. Comfortable shoes recommended because your walking trails that are filled with mulch. A must visit if you come to Jupiter! If you live or visit Palm Beach County and encounter wildlife that is injured please call them and they will send an experienced volunteer to pickup and take to their hospital. They will rehab. Hope you get to go you’ll enjoy very much.

This is a small but important sanctuary for wildlife. Allows the public to visit and see the birds and animals that are either being rehabilitated to be released back into the wild or those being treated to be kept in the sanctuary because they could not otherwise survive.

This is a wildlife rehab facility. Some residents are permanent due to injuries that prevent them from being released. There is a lot of shade on the walkways which is nice on a hot day. You get relatively close to the animals. There are attendants walking around with owls and snakes for a close up encounter. It is primarily for animal rehab and secondarily for the viewing public. There is no entrance fee, so remember to leave a donation.
