As a Marriot Elite Plantinum member we were very disappointed in this hotel. Granted, it was Spring Break but this hotel needs updating! The room size was nice but very old and outdated. We did find a cockroach outside of our room and had to keep our luggage outside when we got home to ensure none were brought home with us. The pool is extremely crowded and to get a seat you have to go out at 6:30am. We went to breakfast and it was over $100 for 2 adults and 2 kids. The next morning we went to the cafe bakery on site but everything was sold out except for a plain croissant. There is no beach. We drove to Fort Myers and it took an hour to get there(only about 5miles) and it was VERY crowded. No beach chairs and could barely find a spot for a towel. We will never return to this Marriot property. Spend the money and go elsewhere!!!!!!!! The Ritz in Naples or the Hyatt Cocount Point. You may spend a little more but worth every penny!!!!!!!!!! Contacted Marriot and all they said was they were going to look into it.
On the plus side, the concierge was very helpful and nice.More
