I can't say enough about the exquisite experience we had at the Residence Inn Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal. We stay at this location each year for our anniversary which also happens to be my wife's birthday. This year was a special 50th for her and once we arrived and told the staff about our special occasion they did everything possible to ensure it was memorable. We were checked into a beautiful one bedroom suite with a awesome view of the intracoastal. Once in our room there was a knock from the manager, we open the door and to our surprise she was holding a small elegant birthday cake along with balloons and a nice birthday card. Wow !! We were amazed at the jester. This hotel is a wonderful location for couples and families with kids. Each room is a suite with great amenities such as full size refrigerator, microwave, washer and dryers and many more great features. They offer a great breakfast each morning. The pool and spa area is nice and well maintained. And as I said earlier the staff is impeccable. I would highly recommend this location to anyone visiting Fort Lauderdale. Absolutely the best !!!

We stayed there for 2 nights and it was pretty good. Good location, waterfront (canal) with a great pool and nice outdoor area. There's not a whole lot around but it's a convenient area in terms of proximity to beaches and shops.

We got surprised getting a King Suite on the 10th floor. We had a large balcony so sit and enjoy the evening. The suite was nice and clean with a kitchen, living room, bedroom , and bathroom. The staff was nice and helpful. The pool area was amazing with its cabanas and the view of the intracoastal. Breakfast was great and there was a lot to choose from. The pool needed some cleaning but it had been really windy and maybe thats why it looked the way it did. We made one mistake. I can only advise to pay for valet. We got a ticket for being 4 min late on the meter. So we paid $35 instead of $18.

Room Tip: the higher up the better

We stayed here in June 2017 with my husband and two kids. The rooms were spacious. It had a kitchen with a full size fridge, cook top, microwave, utensils, dishes, the works!! Bathroom was large with plenty of counter and drawer space. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The TV has direct tv, so lots of channels. There was a balcony on each room as well. The pool area was a little on the small side but the chairs were comfortable and you didn't have to reserve or pay for them. The pool service was a little lacking. The waitress was great, but the hours of service were strange. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.
