Despite some communication confusion about checking in, this property was easy to find and get to, easy to navigate (although at least one elevator was out of service at any given time) and beautiful inside and out.
The furniture, appliances, and utensils were clearly IKEA-grade, but they were very complete and very serviceable. There were plentiful towels and lots of beach stuff, to which we added a large beach umbrella that we couldn't pack home. The room had obviously been very recently renovated, with excellent floors, cabinets, bathroom fixtures, and appliances. The beautiful tile floor was eclipsed by the gorgeous view out onto the beach through the floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows.
The tiki bar was a bit overpriced and a bit underwhelming in the quality of food and beverage, but was very nice and very convenient for a quick bite or drink. The piano bar was excellent. The lobby was excellent as well, with excellent customer service from everyone we encountered. We didn't use the pool area or eat in the formal restaurant. As mentioned, only the elevators were a bit of a facility issue, and not a bad one at that. The valets were great, but the parking is so tight that you'd better show up early if you have reservations anywhere because it can get pretty jammed up, causing delays.
Regardless, this was a fantastic room on an absolutely gorgeous beach fronting a clean, neat oceanfront. It was an amazing deal that we would rent again and again.
