Many choices. Unique menu. Good, fresh tastes. Big portions that were great for sharing. Awesome pisco sours. We tried a million things and loved them all. Plus, the service was wonderful.

They have a very elaborate menu, but do your homework before going. Make sure you understand the food options, especially the sauces. I stuck to the Mediterranean salad with tuna, which was very good.

We stumbled upon this restaurant after our first choice for the evening was closed. We were pleasantly surprised by the clean, open and airy feel of the interior of the restaurant.

There is a row of booths and the tables are well spaced apart so you don't feel cramped at all.

Our server this evening was Andrea and she was amazing. She welcomed us to the restaurant and took her time explaining the menu options. For my entree I chose the Arroz con Mariscos, A seafood combination of Squid, Shrimp, Scallops, Octopus and Mussels, mixed with a beer infused rice, peppers and spices. Very Tasty! My companion opted for the Aji de Gallina - Shredded Chicken in a Peruvian Yellow Pepper Sauce served with potatoes, egg, botija olive and a side of white rice. Also very Delicious. We started with a Grilled Octopus Appetizer that was one of the best I have had.

We especially enjoyed the imported Peruvian Beers (Cristal) as well as the Chicha Morada, Maracuya, Chicha Morada is a Peruvian beverage made from purple corn, a variant of Zea mays native to the Mesoamerica, and spices. Non-alcoholic, it is a type of chicha usually made by boiling the corn with pineapple, cinnamon, clove, and sugar.

For desert we opted for a Quinoa Creme Brulee! A perfect ending to a great meal.

Andrea was amazing from start to finish, attentive but not hovering. Luis, the chef/owner came to the table at the end of our meal to make sure everything was to our liking! It was and we will be back to sample some other menu items.

Four of us visited Inkanto for dinner based on the Yelp reviews (sorry TA). The outside does not have too much curb appeal and the inside is open, airy and slightly sterile. The menu selections were extensive and certainly looked authentic (I've never been to Peru). We started with a trio of ceviche and the waitress helped with our selection. All good choices with three different sauces. Some of the fish was a bit chewy so it may not have been marinated quite long enough. After that we enjoyed the Mar Rojo with grilled octopus and risotto. It also had a very large langostine and smaller shrimp and was a beautiful presentation and excellently prepared. The one odd item of the evening was the Causa Shrimp - basically a round "stack" of cold mashed potatoes and somewhere inside was supposed to be shrimp. Would not recommend this dish.
Will definitely return to try other, more substantial items on the menu.

Thank you for your insightful comments Mywinetutor, we are thrilled you loved everything, however are a bit surprised regarding your comments about the causa, which indeed is a mashed potato pattie filled with your choice or shrimp, chicken salad or octopus, and it's one of our most requested dishes! We would love if you visit us again and give our causa a second chance. Therefore, please show this comment to your server to receive a FREE causa of your choice, we will make it extra special for your! We do hope to see you again soon! =)

We stopped in Fort Lauderdale for couple of days and discovered this wonderful Peruvian place! It was like a hidden treasure! The service was great! The food was absolutely delicious! I was so full but I didn’t stop until I finished the dinner:) I would say we tried a lot of different restaurants and I will give a “WOW” for this one! Great job!
