We did go to this area on a Thursday afternoon late, but it was not impressive. Perhaps it is more active at night.

Okay walk with restaurants and shopping. For all the hype, I thought it would be a little more exciting or have better shopping.

Las Olas is a boutique shopper's dream. It's loaded with name brand and independently owned stores with trendy cafes and restaurants in between. You can tell it's a watering hole for locals, which makes you feel like you've discovered the essence of Fort Lauderdale. Bring walking shoes and lots of cash!
