“Beautiful Day on the Boat”
Reviewed 23 January 2012

We learned a lot about the history of the island and surrounding islands. We saw quite a few dolphins up close. We especially enjoyed getting a closer look at Cumberland Isand. We were able to see some of the horses who inhabit Cumberland. We enjoyed the friendly banter between the captain and tour guide. Overall, it was a great experience and would do it again.

“Fantastic afternoon in a boat”
Reviewed 18 January 2012

Took the Cumberland Island tour this past weekend after a cupcake at Patty Pan Bakery and a charming stroll through Fernandina Beach. Got to watch the MLK Day parade! The tour was absolutely terrific. Our captain couldn't have been more informative or amusing. The tour winds around Fernandina Beach, Fort Clinch, htne Cumberland Island. Now, I have no interest in camping whatsoever, but I almost want to learn courtesy of this awesome boat tour. Boat was comfortable with lots of extra blankets for the breezy ride. Take a snack if you're taking kids and sit back and enjoy the show.

“They let the kids drive the boat!”
Reviewed 23 December 2011

We live on Amelia Island in the summers and every year we take friends and families on the River tours. It is great for kids of any age and the dolphins often make an appearance when the boat is returning. The guides are unbelievably informed and the history of the island is very surprising and interesting. I never tire of taking the boat rides and being out on the waterways.

“Informative Guide”
Reviewed 10 December 2011

The trip was on a beautiful day. The guide was very informative, but had side conversations about the area that we could not hear. However, he was very friendly.

“A nice activity for Amelia Island”
Reviewed 21 November 2011

We took the 10:30am cruise on a Sunday morning and we loved it. The guide, Andrea, was excellent! She was very knowledgeable and told many stories to make the cruise more interesting. The cruise lasts about 2 hours and goes to Cumberland Island. Although you don't land on the island you get close enough to see the wild horses and the remains of some of the historic homes. The price was right too. I highly recommend this trip! It should be noted that I rarely give a 5 star rating - I reserve that for only the absolutely exceptional experiences.

Steve, we truly appreciate your feedback. Andrea runs our Eco-Tours and having a marine biologist join our nature and history experts has allowed us to expand our business to offer these unique tours. It's our way of educating our visitors as to the value of our Eco-System here in northeast Florida and the environment overall. We hope to have you onboard for another one of our tours in the near future.
