The trip was on a beautiful day. The guide was very informative, but had side conversations about the area that we could not hear. However, he was very friendly.

“A nice activity for Amelia Island”
Reviewed 21 November 2011

We took the 10:30am cruise on a Sunday morning and we loved it. The guide, Andrea, was excellent! She was very knowledgeable and told many stories to make the cruise more interesting. The cruise lasts about 2 hours and goes to Cumberland Island. Although you don't land on the island you get close enough to see the wild horses and the remains of some of the historic homes. The price was right too. I highly recommend this trip! It should be noted that I rarely give a 5 star rating - I reserve that for only the absolutely exceptional experiences.

Steve, we truly appreciate your feedback. Andrea runs our Eco-Tours and having a marine biologist join our nature and history experts has allowed us to expand our business to offer these unique tours. It's our way of educating our visitors as to the value of our Eco-System here in northeast Florida and the environment overall. We hope to have you onboard for another one of our tours in the near future.

“Excellent Views and Personable People”
Reviewed 27 October 2011

My husband, our daughter, our dog, and I took the sunset cruise the weekend of October 14th, and were very impressed. The captain and the tourguide were very informative and friendly and the scenery was beautiful. Among the sights, dolphins playing, wild horses on the beach at Cumberland Island, the old fort on Amelia Island, and a gorgeous sunset over the river and marshes. We were especially happy that our dog could go along for the ride! Would absolutely recommend!

Our traditional family sunset cruise is one of the most relaxing ways to truly appreciate the beauty of Amelia and Cumberland Island. Part of our goal as a business is to allow entire families to enjoy the area including pets. We're glad the crew and ride met your expectations.

“Nice boat Tour”
Reviewed 8 October 2011

This was a nice boat ride filled with lots of historic information of Amelia Island and Cumberland Island. The trip takes you down the coast line of Cumberland Island and the staff talks to you about the many forms of nature. We saw a couple dolphins and were able to see several roaming wild horses, although unless you have binoculars or a telephoto lens, you won't be able to see them close up, which was disappointing. We past Fort Clinch, but it was difficult to see anything but the walls. A lot of the trip was spent talking about the past rich owners (Rockefellers and Carnegies) of the island and the building of their mansions on the island. Captain Kurt and Susan were very nice and gave a lot of the historic facts, which made the trip interesting. The trip is $26 for adults and I believe a little cheaper for children. Plan 2 hours for this trip.
