This is the second review I have left for the Red Pirate. We visited the area two years ago and went to the Red Pirate and it was a wonderful experience for all! Unfortunately, I can't say the same this time around. We went on a Thursday evening because a few people in our party wanted the all you can eat crab. We instantly took a dislike to our waitress as she was a snot from the get go. We kept thinking we had done something to irritate her but we couldn't think what. They were short-handed and evidently they had a bartender not show up on the night we went. The few who ordered crab were happy overall except that they had wanted more and a couple hours into our visit, our waitress just seemed to disappear off the face of the earth so they weren't able to get more. Several of us had ordered fish, wings, etc. We also ordered salads. We didn't get the salads until after our other food came and we never did get one of the salads. Our bill was $110 and I gave the waitress a measly $10 because our really crappy service. My mother-in-law kept saying that they were so busy as if we should have felt sorry for our waitress. My main point was that I understood they were busy but our waitress didn't have to have such a totally crabby attitude. We were all in a bad mood after spending 3 hours there. We even had to take our bill into the main building to pay because we couldn't seem to find our waitress. I don't leave negative reviews for places often, but this one was unavoidable. We know this place can be great, because we experienced it as being great once. We were just sad that our great first experience didn't extend to our second visit.
