Not really any hot water in my shower. Toilet flusher had to be held down the entire time to flush. Many outlets were out of service.

AC (window unit) struggled to keep up.

Our room was a little cramped, but our friends room was spacious.

Room Tip: rooms in the front of the hotel with the screen porches are best.

My wife and I spent one night at the Two Rivers Inn, while visiting some friends in the town of Dunnellon.

This inn is an older inn, but well taken care of. We were in Room 1, near the office. Our friends had Room 2, which adjoined our room with a shared screened patio. The patio had a concrete floor, with an overhead fan.

The Inn is located in a residential area, so noise was not a problem. It is a short walk to modest shops and restaurants. There are covered gazebos in front of the rooms where you can meet with others and each has a grill to cook from if desired. The grounds were clean and well-kept. While we did not see river access, since our visit did not include a need to be on the water, there is close access to the river and a spring run goes through the town a distance away from the hotel. The room is pet-friendly and we had no problem with other pets in the area

The room was older, but very clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom has a shower, but warm water takes a little while to get to you. The mirror was not high enough for taller people. There was not a closet in the room to hang clothes up.

There was an offset room for the TV, lounge area and kitchenette. The kitchenette was limited with a smaller refrigerator and a micro-sized microwave, but both were more than we needed. Cooking in the room would be limited to the lack of a proper stove. The TV was impossible to operate, so contact the front office to have them give you instructions on how to operate it. It is impossible to see from the bed area, as the room it resides in is lower that the bedroom and the TV would have to be moved.

The room is cooled by a small window-sized air conditioner, but was sufficient for us. I am not sure if it would be enough if it were hotter, but we had no problem.

I can only speak for the rooms we were in, but other rooms looked to be attractive. One room nearer the road appeared to be much larger.

The office management was friendly and very helpful.

We certainly would have no problem staying in the quaint inn again. Small Florida towns are easily overlooked by visitors on their trips through Florida, which is a benefit for those of us who wish to stay in a more relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

This motel and the way it is set up is so cozy. The year it was built and the way it was built really takes you back in time. If you are looking for a 5 star MODERN MOTEL, this is not your place! If you are looking for OLD FLORIDA with charm, this IS the place. Room was very clean and the set up with the kitchen/living area off the bedroom is the coolest. The ladies at the office are the nicest and always willing to help. The area is downtown so you can walk to many places. We had our kayaks with us so we went down to the KP Hole (rainbow river) and spent the day. We only live an hour North of here and it felt like we were far far away. We will plan another escape here!!!

We stayed for a couple days and the only thing about it was they had a coffee pot and we had to buy our own coffee to use. It appeared clean but it wasnt. The bathroom floor was filthy because I had to wipe up some water and the towel was filthy. I also found a condom wrapper on the floor by the bed. They did not clean room up after our first night here. I would not stay here again even though the price was reasonable.
