First off, it is not where the map shows it to be. The restaurant is part of the shopping center behind the parking lot, and because it's on the north end, it's actually easier to approach from Atlantic Ave (both east and westbound) than from Military.
It's well set up with a real taverna (ταβέρνα) feel, but a large, flat-screen TV provides a jarring note made all the worse because it is displaying a seemingly endless series of poorly done advertisements. Another factor which limited our enjoyment was the combination of the brick floors and the wooden chairs. They were really loud and jarring each time a patron moved. There are pads that fit on such chairs which would go a long way in mitigating this racket. Had the weather been a bit cooler, we would have asked to move to one of the two outside tables.
The service was adequate, although the waitress didn't really know the menu and had to consult it during our ordering. The portions were relatively generous and the food tasty, but not outstanding.
