Discouraged by the wait at our Atlantic avenue restaurant favorites, we tried the Mediterranean Kabob House on the recommendation of a friend. The door opened on loud music and a belly dancer cavorting around the place . Our table, reserved only 15 minutes before we arrived, was ready. The menu isn't full of surprises, good traditional Greek food. All of us were pleased with our dinners, and I was especially so, being a vegetarian. Good choices for me despite the emphasis on kabobs. When the belly dancer took a break, the music quieted down. Service was good. So is parking - it's in a shopping center, the Plaza of Delray. Easy parking is important when you bring your 99 year old father to dinner. Definitely recommend this to fans of Greek food. The inexpensive wine - Chilean - was drinkable, too.
