What a great find! Locals recommended this place and we loved it so much for dinner that we went back for lunch, only being in the area for a few days. The crab chowder and clam chowder were chock full of seafood with a wonderful creamy broth. Their jambalaya was way better than I've had in New Orleans! Tons of tiny pieces of sausage, chicken and shrimp (more sausage and shrimp than chicken, which indicates how they focus on the tasty ingredients instead of the "filler" chicken), lots of little chunks of veggies and the sauce was more brown, like gumbo's roux, than tomato-y - seemed much more authentic than I've had elsewhere. The flavor was the most special thing about it. Husband had grouper sandwich with his chowder, and it was also delicious and fresh. Great meal!
