Excellent suites with lots of space and plenty of appliances and utensils. The rooms are very clean and well maintained with great maid service. The staff are first class who will help anyway they can and with a smile on their faces. The pool area is also a gem with plenty of padded beds and a good water temperature also with the added bonus of free bottled water from the cooler. In conclusion a great place to stay and we will certainly be back.

Room Tip: They also have two bedroom suites and a couple of these have two bathrooms. This is ideal if a couple of families are sharing.

We stayed here in Aug for 9 nights.
PRO'S: The suites themselves are great. Fully fitted kitchen, lounge, one bedroom and private balcony. The pool area is nice, always very clean.
CONS: other than towels which were changed daily, our room was only cleaned every 3 days. We were told to ask if we needed anything but you'd have thought that the maid may have noticed how much sand was on the floor which our kids brought in from the beach!
It's a shame they have to charge $10 daily parking fee.
The area itself is the quieter end of the Island. There are more restaurants the other end and it's also a bit of a walk to the main beach( the private beach at the sister hotel is so tiny it's not worth bothering with).
Did enjoy our time and probably would stay again if it were cheap enough.

We stayed at this hotel for the holiday weekend. It was not a bad place to stay for the money. I would not recommend for families. I am not sure if it was just the holiday weekend, but walking at night with our kids we did not feel safe. It felt like we were at Spring Break. Would not recommend this location in Clearwater beach for families. If your 21 and want to party all weekend this is your place. Rooms are clean, but very dusty. My son coughed all night due to the dust in the room. I am glad we only spent what we did or I would have complained and moved to another hotel.

Room Tip: Stay on backside of property may be less noisy.

We stayed at Coconut Cove late last week in February. With extended family (all adults) we had 5 rooms. They were better than we expected – roomy, comfortable and all with full kitchens. The pool and pool area were both very nice and clean. The staff was nice and didn’t hover at all. The hotel was close to some restaurants but was not located at the “happening” end of Gulf Boulevard, which we didn’t care about because we weren’t there to party. BUT they have the free-ride/tips only golf carts and mini-vans, and they were not only prompt and polite, they were very fun!

My only suggestion is that they replace the sliding glass doors on the balconies with new ones that have some sort of sound buffering. While I could not hear the people in the next unit at all while they were indoors, I felt like they were right in my bedroom when they were on their balcony – I heard every word. It was especially annoying to be woken up by them late at night when we had to catch a 6:00 a.m. flight. We also departed just in time – our last day there the hotel was descended upon by scores and scores of Spring-breakers who were very loud and took over the entire pool area. But that is what Spring Break is all about and they were paying guests too. If that annoys you, just don’t go there any time in March or that is what you can expect. I never travel to areas like this during Spring Break.

Overall we really enjoyed this hotel and would stay there again. And yes, the food at the Italian restaurant next door is awesome. Their breakfast was the best we had anywhere in town (we ate there 3 times!).

What a great surprise Coconut Cove was for us. We were not expecting much and tried only the find an affordable place to stay in Clearwater. We found this affordable place and more. It is a cleaned place recently renovated, friendly and helpful staff were always pleasant to talk to, full kitchen without nothing missing, great room and beds.

Kids loved the pool with the waterfall and we enjoyed the complimentary water bottles next to the pool. We also enjoyed the invitation made to us by the personnel on the Wednesday for a free lunch. We were expecting hot-dogs and fries....again, it was more than expected with BBQ brochettes, salads, beer, wine, dessert, etc.

Simply our best discovery in recent years.
