Great place to stay! We stayed for 2 days over August 2011. Hotel was super clean. The suite was enormous. Never used the full kitchen, but would be great if you were there for a long time. Washer/Dryer in bathroom was a nice touch. The screen enclosed balcony was big enough to have a dinner party on. The view was great for watching incoming thunderstorms. The food was really good at the restrauant. You can see the dolphins playing in the river while you eat. Pool area was very large and clean. We also used the kayak rental place at the Marina. They were great! They took the time to advise us on the weather so we had a good experience.

If your focus is on great accomodations at a reasonable price this place is for you. The "rooms" are basically condos. We have stayed in a two bedroom and a two bedroom deluxe. Both are new and clean and modern. The pool is great. This is on the water, but not the beach. The views are beautiful overlooking the gulf, marina, and barrier islands. The best part of the rooms is the screened in lanai. Downside: If you want to walk to places-don't stay here. It is in a residential area. The drive to shopping (like a mall) is 30 minutes. Target is about a 15 minute drive. The Marker 92 restaurant is hotel food at hotel prices. A short drive is Cape Harbor resort with two really good places to eat: Rumrunners and The Joint. We end up there severla times during a stay. I found the staff to be great with the exception of the restaurant. The staff at the deli on the property seems to get overwelmed easily and it does not have the best selection. Coffee there is free for guests in the a.m., but not the best coffee. The plus is that your room has a full, stocked kitchen, so you can bring in your own groceries if you like.

I want to assure you that I have made mention of your comment about the staff at the Silver King Deli and this is being addressed. I am also pleased to let you know that we will soon be offering Starbucks coffee throughout the resort as well as all the delicious Starbucks drinks at the Deli! As far as the restaurants go, we are also launching new menus in the next couple of weeks that I am sure you will be very pleased with!

I agree with most of the favorable reviews regarding this property. A quiet area; very relaxing atmosphere. The staff on the whole is WONDERFUL, very anxious to please. My only complaint was at check-in which is listed at 3 p.m. but when we arrived we were told 4 p.m. They did not have our room ready until 5:15 p.m. We were not the only ones waiting to get into our room, there were at least 6 others waiting. I believe the problem was lack of help in housekeeping. I sure do hope this has been corrected. The bellhops Lance and Michael were
exceptional; the pool gals were very friendly and accommodating. At first glance, the pool looked small compared to the property but we had no problem getting a lounge and most of the time the pool only had a few people in it. I would definitely recommend this place.

Room Tip: We were on the 6th floor overlooking the pool and marina, great view!

From the time we arrived at the valet area, to the morning we checked out, every staff person we met could not have been more friendlier and professional. The two bedroom units were spacious, clean and comfortable. The view from our enclosed porch was of the waterfront and marina, a very relaxing area to have breakfast.
The staff at the pools were always available with clean towels and beverages and they have a well equipped fitness room. I would highly recommend this resort....

Room Tip: all rooms will be just fine

I booked a 3 bedroom, 3 bath getaway at this awesome resort. If you want a beach front location this is not the place for you! This resort is located on a secluded marina in a quiet neighborhood which is a couple miles from shopping. You may also take the daily water taxi to Ft. Meyers beach, but you must reserve your spot with the front desk. We had a rental car which was perfect for the location.

This resort is beautiful including the staff, outdoor bar and grill, restaurant, and pool areas. I read some complaints that the pool area is too crowded for the size of the resort, but there are 2 pools a couple minute walk, across the street that are part of the resort. They are clean, well maintained, uncrowded and nicely landscaped! We took advantage of the free bicycles, and rental kayaks the resort offered. The bar grill and restaurants were of good quality. The rooms are spacious, clean, well decorated, and the views are gorgeous!

The only complaint I had( which is not really a complaint) is that for a 3 bedroom there needs to be more plates and cups because of the number of people(6). We compensated by running the dishwasher more often. We did eat a delicious dinners at the resort restaurants,but ran out of cups and plates by completion of lunch. Again, not a big deal.

We met a lot of nice people everyday at the pool or hot tub, and enjoyed socializing with them. I had an excellent experience all the way at this lovely resort, and plan on returning some cold winter day!
