“German- Polish Food at its finest”
Review of Tasty Cultures

Tasty Cultures
Ranked #38 of 474 Restaurants in Cape Coral
Certificate of Excellence
Price range: USD 7 - USD 19
Description: Tasty Culture was born due to our love for natural food and high standards of quality ingredients, both the simple foundation for a healthy diet. Iwona and Robert Palussek, both grew up in Europe have been fortunate to experience many cultures and culinary specialties. After moving to Southwest Florida in 2014 there was not better time and place to finally bring the best of Europe to Cape Coral. Our Motto: European homemade food with a modern twist, prepared in a small fast casual restaurant setting. The emphasis lays on preparation on unprocessed food and regionally harvested produce to create a unique high-end dining experience without the high-end price tag. Hearty but healthy grilled (not fried) dishes such as lamb roasts with brown rice and veggie medley or handmade polish pierogi with…or German Schnitzel Sandwiches with authentic Bavarian potato salad will be served on a daily basis and are the core of the business model.

We read a great review in The Taste Magazine and thought we would give it a try. We got beef stroganoff, pierogies, sauerkraut, and cabbage rolls. They were all wonderful will definitely go back. Great service in very clean.

Since our first visit to Tasty Cultures shortly after they opened, they have really gotten their service problems fixed. Our server, Christina, was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable of the menu items including the beers. I started with a cup of cream of mushroom soup that made me think my long-deceased mother was in the kitchen. It was marvelous. My husband chose the salad which was crisp and cold. Since we did Polish on our previous visit, we both did Schnitzel this time. My husband went with Weiner Schnitzel and I the German Pork Schnitzel. Both were excellent - pounded very thin and perfectly fried. My sides were spaetzles and sour kraut. The sour kraut was exceptional, almost as good as my mother made. I found the spaetzles rather bland, but the gravy helped. My husband went with the red cabbage (his loss) and a side of two pierogis which were excellent. The beers were icy cold and very good. We didn't have any room for dessert and our bill was under $50. We won't wait so long between visits now that the service is as good as the food.

We have definitely been to this Restaurant many times with a WOW factor no matter what the dish you order! The true passion of food is executed on every plate-we are thrilled to have this great place in the Cape with incredible staff too! Christina is our favorite-she is all about the details & making it a pleasant visit.
The owner Iwona is such a "delight"-that's if your fortunate enough to get to see her out of the kitchen? This is a must go to-you won't be disappointed!

The wait staff is knowledgable, efficient and pleasant. We met one of the owners as he circulated around the tables talking to the patrons and found him to be pleasant. We met his wife on our return to the restaurant and found her to be humble in the view of praise for her cooking.

Four of us dined at this lovely restaurant for Sunday dinner and enjoyed it immensely. From the moment we were greeted by Nicki , we were made to feel like we were guests in her home. Atmosphere is simple and tastefully staged. Service was beyond reproach, and menu offerings were absolutely on point.

I will most definitely return and feel very confident in recommending it to others. Even asked for menus to be placed in our Clubhouse so that my neighbors can come and enjoy this delightful eatery.

Many thanks to all for the obvious efforts that go into your delicious offerings and warm, friendly care of your guests!
