All the sites are nice, most you don't actually have a clear view of the water / port but you can go to open areas and see lots of cruise ships and all kinds of working boats come in and out of the port all day long.
Also great bike path that goes all the way to the Cocoa Beach Pier and beyond. Took the bikes from the park down to the pier then on to Cocoa Beach Brewing for a cold one. Then went right across the street, caught the #9 bus route right back to the campground with the bikes on the front of the bus. Then hit Grills Bar / Restaurant for drinks, apps, and live music.
Sunday AM @ 3:28 AM got up, went out to the watch the Atlas 5 take off from Kennedy Space Center. Great view - saw it for about 7 seconds before it went into the clouds but was still exciting to see. Can cross that off the bucket list!
I highly recommend this park for adults and families alike. VERY nice staff at the park store, Stacey, Jo Ann and Meredith are all TOP NOTCH. We most definitely will come back.
The park has recently installed WI FI and although it didn't work great at our site it was because one of the access points was down. We reported it and they were going to get it repaired.More
